LOPE FELIX DE VEGA CARPIO, Reverse Text in 7 lines L L. M.M. LE ROI ET LA REINE DE BAVIERE VISITENT LA MONNIAE DES MEDAILLES EN FEVRIER MDCCCX. VF/Fine Lope de Vega was one of the key figures in the Spanish Golden Century of Baroque literature, and his prolific output of some 3000 sonnets and 1800 plays is unequalled. de Vega was idolised by Pope Urban VIII and was made a Knight of Malta and Doctor of Theology in 1627.
