Khedive's Star undated, with Tokar bar, unnamed as issued, EF with dark tone, minor traces of old lacquering on the Tokar bar, Rare. These were struck by Jenkins of Birmingham, was conferred by Khedive Tewfik of Egypt on those who qualified for the Egypt Medal, and it was invariably worn alongside, to the detriment of the silver medal which suffered abrasions from the points of the star.
Khedive's Sudan Medal 1896-1908 with Khartoum clasp, awarded to 3346 Pte. J. Morris 1st Bn. Lincoln Regt. Named in contemporary style italic script. NEF with some dge knocks and contact marks. Comes with copies of service papers, Statement of Services and Military History sheet, this listing the Egyptian Sudan Medal under special instances of gallant conduct.
Egypt Medal, dated reverse, with Alexandria 11th July clasp, awarded to F. Davis. Capt: Miz: Top: H.M.S. 'Superb', GVF with some surface marks, some weakness to naming by 'Superb'
St.Jean d'Acre Medal, Syria Campaign 1840, unnamed, 30mm diameter in bronzed copper, VF with some double striking to the reverse. This medal was awarded to petty officers, NCO's and other ranks, and was awarded by the Sultan of Turkey to British, Austrian and Turkish Forces under Sir Charles Napier, taking part in the liberation of this important city on the Syrian Coast after 8 years of Egyptian occupation. The medal has a plain ring suspension.

All but one medal (number 84 - The Maids of Honor by Diego Velazquez) has the accompanying certificate Prooflike UNC to FDC a few with light toning, or with light hairlines or contact marks, many on the cards of issue

Egypt Medal 1882-1889, undated reverse, (2) the first awarded to 1228 Pte.J.Slater 1st Cameron Highlanders, VF. Enlisted Fort George 10/1/1885. Present at the Battle of Ginnis 30/12/1885, Died Cairo 1886, cause not listed, the second awarded to A.Jeffries Ships Corporal 1st Class H.M.S Briton. GVF. Died of Heat apoplexy aboard HMS Humber 1/8/1884, having served from 1870-1884. HMS Briton and her crew participated in the Battle for Suakin Port, February and March 1884.
World War II a group of five , War Medal, Africa Star, 1939-45 Star, Italy Star, and Africa Service Medal awarded to 8068 Bombr.J.H.Duncan, South African Artillery, EF. Bombr. Duncan enlisted 10/10/1940, was sent to Egypt with PretoriaRegiment in April 1943, to 22nd Field Regiment, May 1943, to Italy in May 1944, and hospitalised, cause unknown, May 1944, and evacuated to South Africa . He was discharged on 2/1/1947., along with World War I to Welsh Regiments (4) 1914-15 Star awarded to 19532 Pte.W.Roberts 1st Royal Welsh Fusiliers. EF. Pte.Roberts was killed in action in France 3/9/1916 and is buried at Thiepval Memorial. Pier and Face 4A, World War I Medals (3) the first awarded to 11085 Pte.G.Jones, South Wales Borderers, NEF. Pte.Jones died of wounds in Alexandria, Egypt, 5/7/1915 after evacuation from Gallopoli, and is buried at Alexandria (Chatby) Military and War Memorial Cemetary L.10. the second awarded to 8717 Pte.D.J.Evans, 2nd Welsh Regiment NEF, Pte.Evans was killed in action 4/5/1915 and is buried at Le Toueret Memorial Panels 23 and 24. the third to 9348 Pte.C.Lewis 1st Royal Welsh Fusiliers.GVF. He died of heart failure in Calais, France on 9/12/1914, and is buried at Ploegdteert Memorial Panel 5. (All were entitled to the 1914 star and Mons clasp)
Egypt Medal 1882 awarded to Ships Corporal, First Class W.W.Holmes H.M.S. Monarch, with bar ALEXANDRIA 11th JULY, VF. Ships Corporal Holmes was discharged to Pension in 1887. H.M.S. Monarch took part in the Naval bombardment of Alexandria 11th to 13th July 1882. The vessel was the first to carry its guns in turrets, and was also the first British Warship to have guns of 12 inch calibre
