Norman Saville was involved with the same unit throughout the moving all over the Somme and Ypres area and he would have been involved in s of Guillemont, Ginchy, Messines, Plickem, Langemarck, St. Quentin, Rosiers and the Pursuit to Mons. During these actions he was awarded the Military Medal which was mentioned in the Gazette on 9/12/1916, he received a bar to that medal 29/8/1918.
