Waterloo Medal 1815 with clip and ring suspension, awarded to George Scougall, Royal Horse Guards recorded on the Waterloo Roll , Page 63 Royal Horse Guards, the recipient served in Captain William Robert Clayton's Troop, under Lt. Hill, was wounded at Waterloo and on the sick roll the following day. Comes with typewritten note stating:- 'He appears on the muster roll covering the period of the Battle of Waterloo with the remark 'sick'. Hanoverian Medal for Waterloo 1815 awarded to Soldat Ludwig Schnat, Landwehr Battalion, Hameln. VF with some surface marks and edge nicks. Commanded by Major Von Strube, the Battalion was part of the 5th British Infantry Division under the command of Lieutenant General Sir Thomas Picton, who was the highest ranking allied casualty at Waterloo, and one of two MPs to be killed at Waterloo. The medal was authorised by the Prince Regent on behalf of his father George III in his capacity as Elector of Hanover and this was conferred on survivors of the battle.
