The piece offered here (1866) is certified by NGC and graded MS62 BN, one of only 3 examples graded by NGC and by far the finest known, the other two examples being graded as AU58 and AU55. NGC have graded 5 examples of the 1861 coin the finest being graded AU55, so not only is this the finest known 1866, but also the finest coin spanning both issues of this series.
