Queen's South Africa Medal, 2nd type reverse, with traces of the date remaining, with 7 clasps, Cape Colony, Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal, Laing's Nek, Orange Free State and South Africa 1901, named in sloping serif upper and lower case style, awarded to 1771 Pte. G. Sibley. Rifle Bde. VF, the obverse cleaned, with some surface marks. Come with photocopied enlistment papers, Statement of Service, Military History Sheet, Discharge Papers, copies of the Medal Rolls confirming entitlement to the medal clasps, and a copy his Death certificate showing he died at age 68 on 24/10/1938

Regt.,(Railway Pioneer Regiment) NEF with hairlines in the fields. Come with photocopies of his discharge sheet showing that despite only serving 6 months, he achieved rapid promotions, joining as an engineer on 27th December 1900, then promotion to Lance Corporal, then to Sergeant, before discharge on 19th June 1901.
