One Hundred Pounds 2020 Queen's Beasts - The White Horse of Hanover One Ounce Gold Proof currently unlisted by the Spink Standard Catalogue, with certificate and booklet, Certificate number 293 of only 435 issued, with just 390 in this presentation format. The informative booklet detailing the origins of the Heraldic White Horse back to the times of KingGeorge I, and it's origins first documented from the seal of Albert I, Duke of Brunswick-Grubenhaben in 1361. From the 14th Century, his kinsmen, rulers of other parts of Brunswick, also adopted the symbol.

Shilling 1798 Pattern by John Milton Obverse GEORGIVS.III.DEI.GRATIA.REX very large head with short hair, laureate, 1798 below, Reverse large plain shield crowned with British and Hanoverian shield divided into six. Plain EdgeESC 1243, which lists as R5 Unc and toned. The designer John Milton (1759 - 1805) was employed by the Royal Mint in 1798 and worked along side Lewis Pingo. This coin has the same date as the 1798 Dorrian and Magens Shilling with this Milton piece being the rarer of the two

Hanoverian Medal for Waterloo 1815 awarded to Soldat Ludwig Schnat, Landwehr Battalion, Hameln. VF with some surface marks and edge nicks. Commanded by Major Von Strube, the Battalion was part of the 5th British Infantry Division under the command of Lieutenant General Sir Thomas Picton, who was the highest ranking allied casualty at Waterloo, and one of two MPs to be killed at Waterloo. The medal was authorised by the Prince Regent on behalf of his father George III in his capacity as Elector of Hanover and this was conferred on survivors of the battle.

Guinea 1716 Fourth Laureate Head as S.3631 but with Hanoverian Shield at date, the shields and sceptres all rotated by 90 degrees clockwise. Unlisted as such, and internet searches have failed to locate another such example offered for sale. Many silver varieties of this period have shield positioning varieties, however this is believed to be the first such error found on a gold coin of this period. Pattern Crown 1836 William IV. A collection of 10 trial coins made at the start of the Patina retro pattern series by INA Ltd to test dies and the use of specific metals. One of only ten sets made. Each specimen has the obverse design of William Wyon?s classic portrait of King William facing right, coupled with a plain reverse inscribed with the word ‘MODEL,? placed horizontally across the diameter. The other pieces have the crowned Hanoverian shield and the date 1836. The collection consists of 2 pieces (obverse and reverse) in proof . 925 sterlingsilver, 2 pieces (obverse and reverse) in proof Piedfortcopper, 2 pieces (obverse and reverse) in bright pewter, 2 pieces (obv. and rev.) in golden alloy, and 2 pieces (obv. and rev.) in nickel silver.10 sets made
