Comprising interesting issues as the early Companhia de Mozambique 5 Libras Estrelinas Pick R32 dated 15th January 1934 and punch holed at centre left and right to read "PAGO / 5th Nov 1942" - PAGO meaning PAID. Along with a World War 2 Emergency issue 50 CentavosPick 80 series L No. 56028 Decreto No 17154 dated 9th September 1941. A Chamico portrait series 1 Escudo Pick 81 dated 1st September 1941 signatures Manuel Rodrigues Junior & Antonio dos Santos Viegas (2) serial numbers B 000404 and B 1737117. The provisionally overprinted 50 Escudos Pick 116 dated 27th October 1970 (1976) serial number B0161674. Also, 1000 EscudosPick 115 dated 23rd May 1972 number 1659501. Guatemala50 Centavos de Quetzals (1/2 Quetzals) FIRST & LAST year issues for this type (180) in 2 bundles with same prefix and suffix letters A - C and most matching the last 3 digits of the serial numbers. The first bundle of a 100 notes Pick 72a first date for this type 4th January 1989 in a fully consecutive run serial numbers A1376801C through A1376900C. The second bundle of 80 notes Pick 72b last date for this type 14th February 1992 in a near consecutive run A8419801C - A8419900C missing only a small range A8419879C - A8419898C. Each note in brown on multicoloured underprint featuring at upper left - nearly threatened Quetzal bird (Pharomachrus mocinno) important in various types of Mesoamerican mythology and also an illustration of Tecun Uman at right, one of the last rulers of the K'iche' Maya people believed slain by Spanish conquistador Pedro de Alvarado in the battle against the Spanish approach to Quetzaltenango in 1524. The reverse displaying the Mayan Tikal I Temple. Printed by the Canadian Bank Note Company and without a watermark. Most if not all in fresh and crisp UNC conditions as if just printed with only 1 of the bundles utmost top few notes with very minor wear perhaps from storage mentioned for accuracy
