Shilling 1817 GEOE Error (E over R) with doubled R in BRITT, RF.X for REX and unbarred H in HONI, as ESC 1232A, Bull 2148, EF, an interesting multi-error coin and worthy of further study for the variety specialist. The E over R variety rated R3 by ESC and Bull.
Shilling 1817 I over S in HONI, ESC 1232, Bull 2147 in an NGC holder and graded MS65, (the variety not stated on the holder) a choice example with the overstrike bold, this type rated R3 by Bull. The finest we have seen of this type. We note an example sold in London Coins Auction A150 described as 'bright EF' realised £180 hammer price in September 2015

Shilling 1816 ESC 1228, Bull 2140, UNC with choice tone, the obverse with an extremely sharp portrait, and exhibiting a superb green and golden tone with touches of magenta and cyan, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 88, the third finest of 65 examples thus far recorded by the LCGS Population Report. This example graded higher than the Cheshire collection example which was graded by LCGS as 85
Crown 1653 CommonwealthESC 6, Bull 6, S.3214 NEF with some light contact and flan stress marks, far fewer than usually encountered on this issue. Struck on a full round flan, a very desirable example exhibiting an original grey tone, and with much eye appeal, seldom seen as nice as this
Shilling 1763 Northumberland ESC 1214, Bull 2124, Obverse UNC or very near so with light adjustment lines, grey toned and enhanced by touches of golden tone and hints of original colour in the legend, the reverse UNC with old grey tone with hints of underlying magenta and cyan, a most pleasing example with superb eye appeal

Shilling 1817 ESC 1232, Bull 2144 Choice UNC with green and gold toning, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 88, the joint finest known of 31 examples thus far recorded by the LCGS Population Report, Currency Coins graded 88 are truly rare with only a tiny percentage of the issue escaping the many potential imperfections caused by the minting process.
