The finest known of just 2 examples recorded by the LCGS Population Report. One of the key date rarities in the Victorian Sovereign series. We note this coin now lists at £4000 in VF and £9000 EF in the Standard Catalogue. Notes in the Bentley Collection Catalogue state that only three Die Numbers have been seen for this date (28, 32 and 33), although others are claimed to exist (namely 12,15, 34 and 35) they have not been traced.	£4,400

A the time of writing a total of 1,112 Victoria Young Head Sovereigns of all currency dates and types had been submitted for LCGS grading and only 4 examples attained grades 80 or above, so an extremely hard series to find true mint state coins, this providing a rare opportunity More coins like this	£900
