In addition the reverse has a die crack at 9 o'clock extending to the top left point of the shield and another at 7 o'clock extending through the 1 of the date and extending to the lower point of the shield A/UNC starting to tone, an unusual piece
Two Pounds 1831 Plain edge Proof, Marsh T20, S.3828, Obverse UNC with an old scratch on the portrait, and some thin scratches and hairlines in the fields, retaining much original lustre and brilliance. The reverse nFDC showcasing the glorious 'draped crown and shield' design, one of the finest to appear on any English coin. The Two Pounds from the 1831 was the highest denomination in the set and with only 225 examples believed to have been minted are greatly prized pieces

Half Guinea 1751 S.3685 VF brightly cleaned, with scratches on the obverse and to the shield on the reverse, appears bent and straightened, our archive database indicates that this is the first we have offered of this date. Clearly undervalued and under-rated by the Standard Catalogue. the coin offered here was previously sold at Auction in 2010 and, as far as we have been able to establish, only one other example of the unaltered date coin has been offered by major Auction houses in the intervening 13 years.
Shilling 1798 Pattern by John Milton Obverse GEORGIVS.III.DEI.GRATIA.REX very large head with short hair, laureate, 1798 below, Reverse large plain shield crowned with British and Hanoverian shield divided into six. Plain EdgeESC 1243, which lists as R5 Unc and toned. The designer John Milton (1759 - 1805) was employed by the Royal Mint in 1798 and worked along side Lewis Pingo. This coin has the same date as the 1798 Dorrian and Magens Shilling with this Milton piece being the rarer of the two
