Halfpenny 1848 Unaltered date, Peck 1533, VF or slightly better with some contact marks and edge nicks, the reverse with some spots, a very rare type, under-rated by the major catalogues, our archive database stretching back to 2003 shows that we have offered just 6 examples, as opposed to 23 1845 Halfpennies over the same time period
Halfpenny 1893 Freeman 368 dies 17+S Lustrous UNC with Prooflike fields, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 90. Ex-London Coins Auction A123 December 2008 Lot 1442 hammer price £340. When sold in Auction A123, it was noted that 'only two Victorian Halfpennies submitted for grading have been returned as grade 90. This is still the case 13 years later. The coin is UIN 163 and after another 44,000 coins have been graded in the intervening period and this is still the finest known of 17 examples now recorded by the LCGS Population Report

Halfpenny 1965 Freeman 492 dies 3+H, Lustrous UNC and choice in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 90, the finest known of 57 examples thus far recorded by the LCGS Population Report, at the time of writing a total of 264 Elizabeth II currency Halfpennies have been recorded by LCGS and this remains the only grade 90. Halfpenny 1735 Peck 849 A/UNC toned, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 70, the only example and therefore finest thus far recorded by the LCGS Population Report, from over 44,000 coins submitted, Ex-Andrew Wayne collection 5/6/2006 lot 987, many of the early Copper Halfpennies deceptively scarce or rare in high grades, one of the earliest coins submitted to LCGS (UIN 33) and after a further 44,000 coins graded this has yet to be beaten
Halfpenny 1894 Freeman 369 dies 17+S UNC or very near so with good lustre and with some tone spots, the reverse in particular boldly struck, the later Bun Halfpennies not usually found with bold striking
Halfpenny 1745 Peck 875 UNC an extremely choice example, attractively toned with small traces of lustre, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 85, Ex-Andrew Wayne collection, London Coins Auction A113, 5/6/2006 (Lot 994). One of the first coins encapsulated by CGS (UIN 0000035). LCGS has now recorded over 42000 coins on its Population report and only one other coin of this date has been recorded. We note only 4 George II currency Halfpennies of all dates have attained the 85 grade, with none recorded higher, therefore a choice coin for the type collector
Halfpenny 1675 Peck 516 EF with traces of lustre, a small spot on the reverse barely detracts, a superb example, all Charles IIHalfpennies very rare in high grades
Halfpenny 1894 Freeman 369 dies 17+S UNC with virtually full lustre and nicely struck, a couple of carbon spots barely detract, very few late issue Bun Halfpennies found with good strikes
