Farthing 1723 Peck 826 Choice UNC attractively toned with traces of lustre on the obverse, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 82, the finest known of only 2 examples thus far recorded of this date and type. George I Farthings are notoriously hard to find in high grades with good strikes, and the opportunity to acquire such choice pieces seldom arises. This however forms part of a group of choice early Farthings in this sale
