Maundy Presentation Set 2017 9 complete sets and an additional Maundy Penny Lustrous UNC and still sealed in the original plastic envelopes, making up the 91 pence awarded by the Queen for this year, along with the £5.50 payment this comprising Five Pound Crown 2017 and Fifty Pence 2017 Isaac Newton these A/UNC with golden tone, comes with the two Maundy purses, one red and one white. The Maundy Sets of 2017 were distributed at Leicester Cathedral

Penny 1862 Small Date from Halfpenny die Freeman 41 dies 6+G, Gouby BP1862E, Fair and 'misty' in parts, however the date is bold and the variety very clear, Rated R18 by Freeman and seldom offered in any grade
Penny 1874H 7 over 7, the underlying 7 struck higher and shows very clearly at top left and inside left of the overpunched 7, Gouby BP1874Nn (dies K+j), Freeman dies 7+H, Fine or slightly better, Extremely Rare with very few examples thought to exist
Penny 1858 Large Rose, Ornamental Trident, Small Date with WW, unlisted by Peck, believed to be only a few examples known, Fine of better with some contact marks, we note an example described as LCGS Fine 35 sold in our June 2012 auction for £600 hammer price
Penny 1904 Freeman 159 dies 1+B UNC with practically full lustre, a few minor spots barely detract, this date becoming more difficult to find in top grade
Halfpenny 1700 an unusual error , Reverse legend reads BRTTΛNNIΛ, so T for I in BRIT and unbarred A's, two errors on the same coin, unlisted by Peck, Bold VG on a slightly porous flan, we note this variety not present in the Nicholson collection which included a vast array of William III varieties
Penny 1874H 7 over 7 in date, Gouby BP1874Nn (dies K+j), Freeman dies 7+H, Poor with the date and overstrike area very clear, Very Rare with only a handful of examples known

Halfpenny 1735 Peck 849 A/UNC toned, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 70, the only example and therefore finest thus far recorded by the LCGS Population Report, from over 44,000 coins submitted, Ex-Andrew Wayne collection 5/6/2006 lot 987, many of the early Copper Halfpennies deceptively scarce or rare in high grades, one of the earliest coins submitted to LCGS (UIN 33) and after a further 44,000 coins graded this has yet to be beaten
