Penny 1858 8 over 2, this variety previously thought to be 8 over 3 with die cracks showing thinly through the bottom of all four digits of the date showing an earlier stage of the die break associated with this type, recent research has stated this is more likely to be 8 over 2, indeed this coin shows a small point at the bottom left of the 8. Recent research suggest that this die only had a short working life (Source: Michael Gouby, article Spink Numismatic Circular May 2010 pages 72-73) AU/GEF with traces of lustre

UNC or near so the obverse weakly struck, as seems to be the case with many of this series of Kings Norton patterns, an extremely rare piece with possibly only a handful known
Penny 1862 VIGTORIA error legend a recently discovered type, previously unlisted by Freeman, Gouby, Satin or Spink, we note also the error G is of a slightly different font to the G of D:G: Extremely rare and believed to be one of only a small number of known examples, VG with some surface marks but the variety very clear. We note an example described as Fair realised £1400 hammer price in our Auction A156 (5/3/2017 Lot 2509). This example is visually a superior coin with all legends clear. Probably rarer than the 1877 Narrow date coin, of which an LCGS Fine 20 example realised £7020 in our June 2010 auction

Halfpenny 1729 Peck 830 UNC evenly struck and a super example of the Young Head portrait type, slabbed in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 78, formerly part of the Andrew Wayne Collection, sold in London Coins Auction A113 5/6/2006 (Lot 980), this is one of the very early submissions to LCGS (UIN 0000030) and after a further 43,000 coins have been graded, is still the finest recorded example, thus proving the rarity of these early copper pieces.
Penny 1874H Freeman 76 dies 7+I GVF with field corrosion, we note that all previous examples we have offered have graded Fine or below, rated R17 by Freeman and very rare, we also note that there was no example of this type in either the Roland Harris or Andrew Wayne collections

Halfpenny 1770 Peck 893 UNC or very near so with a dark chocolate tone, a lovely example with only very light friction preventing a higher grade, slabbed in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 75
