George V Set 1928 (14 coins) a 13-coin cased set comprising Crown, Halfcrown, Florin, Shilling, Sixpence, Silver Threepence, Maundy Set, Penny, Halfpenny and Farthing, with an additional Crown. Both Crowns UNC and choice and markedly different in terms of striking, the first with an even 'satiny' lustre, the second with the reverse particularly well struck, with a finish similar to a Specimen striking and with superb eye appeal and mirror like fields

Farthing 1798 Restrike Pattern in bronzed copper Peck 1215, R76, Obverse: No K on the shoulder drapery, two small parallel lines above the lowest berry, Reverse: All the olive leaves are detached, with many die rust marks on the rim and some in the field. The transverse arms of the St. George's cross have raised line borders, 6.58 grammes, nFDC and attractively toned, this type very rare, Our archive database shows we have only offered one previous example of this die pairing in 19 years. Notes in Peck state for this type two examples are in the British Museum, one with reverse die file marks (as described in the text) and one without.
Farthing 1863 as Freeman 509 dies 3+B Variety with dot in the sea below the lighthouse, LCGS Variety 02, UNC with subdued lustre, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 82. All 1863 Farthings are rare in high grades, this an excellent coin for the Farthing Specialist collector

Farthing 1771 Reverse A, the olive branch points to the right hand limb of BRITANNIA, the first 7 struck over a longer 7, by far the rarest of the three reverses, Peck 909 Obverse UNC the reverse very near so with minor cabinet friction, traces of lustre further enhance the eye appeal. Rare and desirable in this high grade and comparable in grade to the example in the Colin Cooke collection
