UniteCharles I Group A, First Bust in Coronation robes, high double-arched crown, S.2685, North 2146, mintmark Lis, VF/GVF with bold legends, the obverse with some flan stress and a flan crack at the top by REX. Some weakness of strike is evident in places, with the legend double struck in places on either side, the coin displays very little actual wear, of pleasing and original appearance, virtually 'as made.'

UniteJames I Second Coinage, Fifth Bust, S.2620, mintmark Cinquefoil, 9.86 grammes, Around Fine with some heavier haymarking behind the bust to the left of the sceptre causing a small flan crack and tiny hole, the top of the reverse has a weakly struck area on the arch of the crown and in the corresponding position on the obverse to the left of the King's crown, the design smoothed in this area. An inexpensive example of this large gold hammered issue

Triple Unite 1643 Charles I (1625-1649) Oxford mint. S2726. Rarer type with half-length crowned portrait of king in armour and scarf flying from shoulder. Plume behind head. King has symbolic sword in one hand and olive branch in other. Mint mark Oxford plume above. Obverse legend reads: CAROLVS: D: G: MAGN: BRIT: FR: ET: HI: REX Reverse has declaration in 3 lines on ornate scroll. RELIG: PROT: LEG: ANGL: LIBER: This is the King’s undertaking to uphold the Protestant religion, the laws of the kingdom, and the freedoms and privileges of Parliament. Struck on a large full flan which is slightly irregular as is usual for this type. EF and very desirable thus
