World War I Trio awarded to 11958 Pte. J.Jubb E.York. R., 1914-15 Star, 1914-1918 British War Medal and Victory Medal, EF, the star with some surface residue, along with Death Plaque EF in original card envelope, cap badge, and printout from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website with full details. Pte. Jubb was killed in action at Thiepval on 8th February 1917 Age 27. He is buried at Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France

1914-15 Star Trio (576 Gnr.H.Evans M.M.G.S. R.A.). Initial "R" on Victory but same number throughout. Together with a 1939-45 Defence Medal in card box addressed to W.C. Evans. Men were found from volunteers or by special enlistment of men known to be actively interested in motorcycles (such as cycle club members). The Coventry offices of the enthusiasts magazine "Motor Cycle" was listed as a recruiting office for the MMGS
