World War II a group of five to Australian Infantryman WX901 Pte.E.Millet 1939-45 Medal, Defence Medal, Australia Service Medal, 1939-45 Star and Africa Star. NEF to EF. Pte. Millet was killed in action at the Battle of Crete (second day) 21/5/1941, Pte.Millet took part in Wavell's first desert campaign in December 1940/Feb 1941,and in the Battle of Bardia before helping to capture Tobruk. He is buried at Suda Bay War Cemetery 5.C.15., World War II, along with New Zealand Infantry a casualty group of five, awarded to 9179 L/Cpl G.W.Wheeler comprising 1939/45 Star, Africa Star, 1939/1945 War Medal, New Zealand War Service Medal and New Zealand Memorial Cross, all privately engraved, EF. L/Cpl. Wheeler was killed in action by a stuka raid on the New Zealand Division Greece 27/4/1941

A Great War DCM & MM group to Sjt. H. Temple Royal Engineers. Distinguished Conduct Medal G.V.R. (13666 2 Cpl. 1/ Sig. Co. R.E.), Military Medal G.V.R (13666 2 Cpl. 1/ D.S.Co. R.E.), 1914 Mons Star (13666 Sapr R.E.), British War & Victory Medals with M.I.D. oakleaf 13666 A.Sjt. R.E.Defence Medal, Imperial Service Medal GVIR (Harold Temple DCM MM). Mounted as worn, First two slightly polished otherwise GVF. The Imperial Service Medal was awarded to Mr Harold Temple DCM MM in recognition of nearly half a century of outstanding service to the Crown. Enlisted in R.E. in 1904, and served in Ireland, until early 1914, when he joined the Post Office Telegraph Service at New Cross. He went to France and Belgium when the war started won the DCM & MM, and was Mentioned in Despatches for Conspicuous Gallantry during operations - for repairing telephone lines under heavy gunfire, for carrying a wounded colleague to a dressing room under heavy fire and returning to duty. He was wounded twice and after six months at hospital was sent to Signal School at Farnham where he stayed till he was demobilised in 1919. He returned to the Post Office and was promoted to Inspector in 1941. He served as a Captain in the Home Guard in the Second World War.
