Knights L.L.625-C 514 Squadron based at Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire, killed 24th March 1944 on return from raid on Berlin. Mission consisted of 577 Lancasters, 216 Halifaxes and 18 Mosquitos. 44 Lancasters were lost in the raid. One of the crew members, Ron McAllister survived as a prisoner of war.

Army of India Medal, reverse short hyphen type, officially impressed naming, with Bhurtpoor clasp, awarded to Ensign T.G. Dundas 15th N.I. EF with some hairlines and some rub to the portrait. Thomas Graham Dundas arrived in Calcutta on October 4th 1825, and was entitled to Bhurtpoor prize money of 2381 Rupees (£238 sterling) which he did not claim in India. Comes with copy of India Office Library and Records stating record of service, date of commission of rank as Ensign 13th May 1825, and Lieutenant 19th Oct.1836, also List of services - Posted as Ensign to 15th N.I. 1825. Siege and Capture of Bhurtpore, Ensign 15th N.I. (India Medal). Transferred as Lieutenant to 4th Extra Regiment (became 72nd N.I) from 19th Oct.1826, after his marriage in 1832 to Margaret Maria Louisa, 3rd daughter of Edward Swift Broughton. After a period of furlough, from 10th September 1833, he failed to report for his return and subsequently resigned his commission on 3rd Feb. 1835.

Rowing Medals to W.J.Fernie (2) University CambridgeTrial Eights Winning Crew 1895 , 51mm diameter in silver by D.Munsey/Peters of Cambridge, in half lunette-style presentation holder , boxed, with old white toning, suggesting once fully encased, the case with a shield-shaped plaque with inscription of the crew, and weights of the crew, and positions in the boat. W.J.Fernie is shown as Stroke position. The final elimination trial for rowers for entrance into the Cambridge Boat Race Crew for the historic University Boat Race. This is the only time prior to the Boat Race that the crews race over the full 4 1/4 mile Putney to Mortlake course. These race were contested intra-University Oxford v. Oxford and Cambridge v. Cambridge to decide the final crews. The Race still takes place today, although the medal prize has been replaced by the award of sponsored clothing and equipment to the competitors.
