Obverse: A crowned and mantled conjoined coats-of-arms; all within ornate frame / Three putti decorating an ornate oval shield with a chain of flowers; shield inscribed with a script MD (for d’Aumont and Mazarin) cypher; pair of doves perched on top of shield; LORTHIOR ·· F ·· below, all within ornate frame.
