YorkshireImperial Yeomanry Medal 1901-1902, type 2 reverse, awarded to 32423 Pte. J.Robinson EF and lustrous with two gentle edge bruises, Pte. Robinson joined the regiment 7/5/1901and was invalided home on 24/3/1902.He was discharged medically unfit on 15/5/1902, and it also entitled to a 5 clasp Queen's South Africa medal. The type 2 Yorkshire Imperial Yeomanry medal was awarded by members of the 109th Yorkshire Hussars Company and the 111th Yorkshire Dragoons Company. It is estimated that 700 medals of this type were produced.
Kabul to Kandahar Star, Afghanistan campaign 1878-1880, awarded to 6843 Gunner G. Hickman, 6th Battery 8th Bde R.A. VF with attractive patina. These medals were awarded to those who took part in the epic 300-mile march from the Afghan capital to Kandahar, led by General Roberts to relieve the beleaguered forces of General Burrows, comes with copied service papers, details of enlistment, Medical Record and Military History Sheet
Queen's South Africa Medal, 3rd type reverse, with 3 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State and South Africa 1902, awarded to E.3747 Tpr. S.Hughes S.A.C, the edge officially renamed, GVF, the reverse with some hairline scratches, comes with photocopied extract from the medal roll for the South African Constabulary confirming entitlement to the clasps. Tpr. Hughes was discharged as medically unfit in October 1910.
