Knight. 58th Medium Regiment, Royal Artillery, Tug-Of-War, Royal Artillery badge on the reverse, 32mm diameter not hallmarked, with suspension loop at the top, Good Fine with an edge bruise, comes with handwritten researched note stating 'Flight Seargent (sic) J. Knights L.L.625-C 514 Squadron based at Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire, killed 24th March 1944 on return from raid on Berlin. Mission consisted of 577 Lancasters, 216 Halifaxes and 18 Mosquitos. 44 Lancasters were lost in the raid. One of the crew members, Ron McAllister survived as a prisoner of war.
