Punniar Star 1843, Gwalior Campaign, bronze with silver centre, awarded to Private Timothy Bergin, 50th Queen's Own Regiment, Near VF. The bronze from these medals were struck from guns captured at the battles of Maharajpoor and Gwalior, thus anticipating the production of the Victoria Cross in the same manner.
Maharajpoor Star 1843, Gwalior campaign, bronze with silver centre, unnamed, reverse with clip mount to be worn as a breast presentation, GVF with attractive dark tone, comes with split ring and ribbon. The bronze from these medals were struck from guns captured at the battles of Maharajpoor and Gwalior, thus anticipating the production of the Victoria Cross in the same manner.
