The note in blue on yellow and red sunburst underprint with the obverse featuring The redesigned Bank's Coat of Arms at left with the 4 quarters of the shield representing various financial institutions at different times that were part of the "The Union Bank of Scotland" or its former predecessors along with a sailing ship emblem at right. The reverse depicting an illustration of the traditional heavy industry of Clydeside (Glasgow county) - shipbuilding, steel production and energy. About UNC very Minor Dirt at lower left marring not affecting the notes general appearance. With 3 sets of punchole cancellations formed in vertical lines, Printers Guidelines and Annotations, violet stamp at right obverse margin reads "The Union Bank of Scotland Limited"
