03/06/2019 Auction 165	World Banknotes	Lot 763	Scotland Bank of Scotland 1 Pounds includes a SPECIMEN (2) comprising a SPECIMEN signatures Bilsland for Governor and Watson for treasurer undated 1961-65 serial number A/M 0000000 amended printers' imprint at lower right margin now reads "G. Waterston & Sons Ltd." similar to Pick 102 (Calloway-Murphy BA 100d) red SPECIMEN overprint diagonally on obverse. Along with a later regular issue signatures Polwarth for Governor and Letham for Treasurer & General Manager dated 3rd March 1967 serial number B/B 0870402 Pick 105b (Calloway-Murphy BA 100g). Both in light brown with blue Scotia medallion at centre and value at lower left and right and thistle, sailing ship and value at lower left and right on reverse in addition the later regular issue now with magnetic ink sorting codes on reverse.
