06/09/2020 Auction 170	World Banknotes	Lot 181	Ireland (Northern) Ulster Bank 50 Pounds Pick 338a (BY NI.844; PMI UB94) dated 1st January 1997 serial number D 0352552 signature Kells, about UNC - UNC and a scarcer note with it now being the highest denomination of the issue with no more 100 Pound notes printed. Green, brown and multicolour with small illustrations along bottom including the Belfast rock formation along with urban and rural views of Belfast, also the Bank's logo at the time serving as a silver foil security device. The reverse illustrating the Bank's Coat of Arms at centre flanked by the numerical values, along with Coat of Arms of the four provinces of Ireland in each corner - Connaught, Munster, Leinster and Ulster. Watermarked with the Bank's name across the full body of the note and printed by Thomas De La Rue Limited More banknotes like this	£140
