Red and violet on multicolour featuring Queen Elizabeth II at right and as watermark, Gibraltar's Coat of Arms to left with butterflies, flower and horse cart, also illustrations of the popular Barbary macaques in the underprint at centre. The reverse with a large portrait of Sir Winston Churchill at right and an illustrations of the popular World War II planes - 'Spitfires at the North Front, 1942'.

Deep violet, dark brown and blue on multicoloured underprint featuring H.M. Queen Elizabeth II, Gibraltar's Coat of Arms and sea view with Rock of Gibraltar on obverse. The reverse with illustration of the The Convent (Governor's house) a historical landmark that has been the official residence of the Governors of Gibraltar since 1728, built in 1531 it's original purpose was a convent (hence it's name) of Francisian friars. Watermarked with a bust of H.M. the Queen facing right.
Gibraltar Government One Pound (2) comprising Pick 20b dated 15th September 1979 serial number K284995 signed R. J. Wallace CMG, OBE titled Financial And Development Secretary and the second being Pick 20d dated 21st October 1986 serial number L405956 signed B Traynor titled Financial And Development Secretary. Both notes in red and brown on multicoloured underprint and feature young H.M. Queen Elizabeth II wearing a tiara portrait and Gibraltar's Coat of Arms with the inscription "Montis Insignia Calpe" ("Badges of the Rock of Gibraltar") at centre and a sea view of Gibraltar at upper left on obverse and the reverse showing The Covenant of Gibraltar also known by its old name Convent of Franciscan Friars and has been the official residence of the Governor of Gibraltar since 1728, but was originally built in 1531 and heavily rebuilt in the 18th and 19th centuries.
