Each note in deep olive-green on pale orange and ochre underprint with the obverse displaying a portrait of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II at right and ships and the island at upper centre left. The reverse with an elaborate panel displaying the British East India Company Coat of Arms at left and a sailing ship at right.
