South Africa Republic Anglo-Boer WarGouvernements Noot 1 Pond/Pound The Velde (field note) Pick 66 (Ineson 110) with 2 manuscript signatures -Acting Auditor-General A.P.Brugman and the Acting Treasurer-General P.R.de Villiers, manuscript dated 1st May 1902 number 59 791A, VG Paper repairs and an interesting early issue. Black on white paper with blue horizontal lines and features a crude South African Republic Coat of Arms to left obverse, later to become the symbol of the Transvaal Province.
Africa (20) mostly high grade early and modern issues 1900's onwards from South Africa (15) comprising scarcer issues such as Southwest Africa 1 pound Pick 11 dated 16th September 1955 serial number No SW/1 1092539, red on multicolour waterfall to lower right and value on red and green guilloche at centre on obverse and antelopes on reverse, also 1 PoundPick 84c 11th April 1938 serial number A/68 794167 and 1 Pound Pick 84f 16th April 1947 serial number A/68 794167 and a Gouvernements Noot 1 Pound white note with manuscript signatures and date 1st April 1901 No. 33766A. And along with Rwanda Banque Nationale du Rwanda 1960-70s issues (5) denominations include 20, 50, 100 and 500 Francs. Scarce
