(7) an Exceptionally Rare group of Copper Exchange notes comprising 100 Pick A157a Arms at left issued Province 03.10.1833 VF - GVF paper repair on reverse and 50 Mil Reis Pick A156a Arms at left Ceara Province 03.10.1833 VF - GVF paper repair on reverse . 20 Mil Reis Pick A155a Arms at left issued Ceara Province 03.10.1833 VF - GVF paper repair on reverse. 10 Mil Reis Pick A154a Arms at left Ceara Province 03.10.1833 Fine - about VF paper repair on reverse. 5 Mil Reis Pick A153a Arms at left 03.10.1833 Fine - about VF paper repair on reverse. 2 Mil Reis Pick A152a Arms at left Ceara Province 03.10.1833 about VF paper repair on reverse. All notes with ink burn due to the tannic acid in the early ink used for the official handwritten signatures. Printed in Rio de Janeiro these notes were issued throughout all provinces and were used in exchange for debased copper coinage, the names of the individual provinces were handwritten on each piece issued.
