Green, brown and multicolour with small illustrations along bottom including the Belfast rock formation along with urban and rural views of Belfast, also the Bank's logo at the time serving as a silver foil security device. The reverse illustrating the Bank's Coat of Arms at centre flanked by the numerical values, along with Coat of Arms of the four provinces of Ireland in each corner - Connaught, Munster, Leinster and Ulster. Watermarked with the Bank's name across the full body of the note and printed by Thomas De La Rue Limited
