Also includes a Post-war threaded example 1948 prefix D48B. An interesting fact about this period is that all pre-war Britannia medallion issues were unthreaded but a metal thread was incorporated into the Emergency issues and the ones to follow, so perhaps the war is what sparked the integration of this additional security measure.
