Queen's , 3rd type reverse, with 3 clasps, , and , aded to 1488 Serjt J. Laity Rly. Pnr. Regt.,(Railway Pioneer ) NEF with hairlines in the fields. Come with photocopies of his discharge sheet showing that despite only serving 6 months, he achieved rapid promotions, joining as an engineer on 27th December 1900, then promotion to Lance Corporal, then to Sergeant, before discharge on 19th June 1901.
