Gold Proof a stunning Royal Mint issue, the Reverse with William Wyon's iconic 1839 design recognised as one of the most beautiful designs ever to grace a British coin, this new minting showcases the quality of the modern minting techniques on a classical design. This issue sold out immediately on release from the Royal Mint. FDC or very near so with a small area of toning on the reverse rim, in the Royal Mint box of issue with certificate and booklet. Only the second example we have offered, and highly sought after by modern gold collectors.
