Halfcrown 1849 unusual in not having the 8 over a broken 8, the digits slightly larger than the standard small date coin, but way smaller than the large date, VG, unusual
Halfcrown 1853 ProofESC 687, Bull 2736 UNC the obverse with some very minor contact marks and the coin has been cleaned. 14.12 grammes. Ex LCA 163 lot 633 realised £5,000 hammer price. A very rare issue and seldom offered in any grade with this example being just the second one we have seen since 2003.
Halfcrown 1877 ESC 700, Bull 2750 NEF/About EF with some contact marks and small rim nicks, retaining much eye appeal, a scarcer date in the Young Head series
Halfcrown 1903 ESC 748, Bull 3569 Fine or slightly better with a gentle edge bruise, all letters of the garter legend bold and clear on the reverse, one of the key dates in the series

Halfcrown 1910 ESC 755, Bull 3576 NEF/EF the obverse a little weakly struck with some contact marks, the reverse very pleasing with a hint of golden toning
Halfcrown 1925 ESC 772, Bull 3727 UNC or very near so and lustrous, with only very minor cabinet friction, a well struck example with strong hair detail for this issue. A most pleasing and attractive coin with plenty of eye appeal, a key date and very rare in this high grade, and in our experience much rarer than the 1930 Halfcrown in this condition

Halfpennies (2) 1717 Peck 768 Good Fine with a small edge crack and some edge nicks, 1719 Obverse 2 with plain left shoulder strap Peck 793 Fine with some old spots, this type far rarer than the Obverse 1 coin
Halfpennies (2) 1806 3 Berries on olive branch Peck 1377 GVF toned, 1806 No Berries on olive branch Peck 1376 VF with a heavier contact mark in the obverse field
Halfpenny 1686 Tin, edge with plain mullets between the legend and date, Peck 543, with the copper plug intact, NGC XF45 all tin coins extremely rare in this high grade, and this type stated to be 'Very Rare' by Peck, indeed our archive database stretching back to 2003 shows that this is only the second 1686 Halfpenny we have offered, the other being from the Nicholson collection
Halfpenny 1694 ProofPeck 612 on a flan of 31 mm and upright die axis alignment, with the T.M on the obverse about 2.5mm apart with no stop after BRITANNIA; the flan flaw on the reverse rim is present; struck on a flan of 1mm thickness with a plain edge GVF with a dig at the top of the obverse, Very rare and seldom offered
Halfpenny 1700 an unusual error , Reverse legend reads BRTTΛNNIΛ, so T for I in BRIT and unbarred A's, two errors on the same coin, unlisted by Peck, Bold VG on a slightly porous flan, we note this variety not present in the Nicholson collection which included a vast array of William III varieties
Halfpenny 1746 Peck 876 UNC toned, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 80, Ex-Andrew Wayne collection London Coins Auction A113 5/6/2006 Lot 995, the finest known of just 3 examples thus far recorded by the LCGS Population Report, with a UIN of 0000036, this being one of the first coins graded by LCGS, and in over 43000 coins submitted since has yet to be beaten
Halfpenny 1797 Pattern in Bronzed Copper Peck 1153 KH6 nFDC toned, with traces of lustre, the reverse with peripheral blue/green tone, a most attractive example and rare thus
Maundy Presentation 2000 comprising Maundy Sets 2000 (7) and an additional Maundy Threepence and Maundy Penny making a total of 74 pence awarded by the Queen for this year, all Lustrous UNC and still sealed in the plastics, two of the Pennies with some toning, includes both the red and white Maundy purses, with the £5.50 payment made up of a Five Pound Crown 2000 Queen Mother 100th Birthday GEF and Fifty Pence 2000 150 Years of Public Libraries GEF/AU, the full set of coins and purses from this historic ceremony
Maundy Presentation Set 2017 9 complete sets and an additional Maundy Penny Lustrous UNC and still sealed in the original plastic envelopes, making up the 91 pence awarded by the Queen for this year, along with the £5.50 payment this comprising Five Pound Crown 2017 and Fifty Pence 2017 Isaac Newton these A/UNC with golden tone, comes with the two Maundy purses, one red and one white. Penny 1863 3 over 1 Gouby BP1863Aa (dies J+g), Freeman dies 6+G, Poor the overstrike visible under strong magnification, an extremely rare type, and always sought after on the rare occasions they are offered
Penny 1874H 7 over 7 in date, Gouby BP1874Nn (dies K+j), Freeman dies 7+H, Poor with the date and overstrike area very clear, Very Rare with only a handful of examples known
