Arcadius, Constantinople Mint (397-402AD) Obverse: Bust three quarters facing, diademed, helmeted and cuirassed, holding spear over shoulder, and shield decorated with horseman DN ARCADI-VS PF AVG, Reverse: Constantinopolis enthroned, facing, with and Victory on globe, CONCORDIA -A AVGGΘ mintmark CONOB, 4.47 grammes, RIC X 7Θ, RCV 20706, GVF with evidence of a mount having been removed at the top of the obverse, however the coin displays excellent surfaces with none of the problems usually associated with ex-mount pieces
