10 s / Pick 98 dated with the last date of issue for this type 19th November 1958 serial number D/4 436795 signature Dr. M. H. de Kock and first line of Bank name and value in English variety. The note in brown-violet on multicoloured underprint with the obverse displaying a portrait of Jan van Riebeeck with surrounding wildlife and agricultural products at left and a female with child at right. The reverse displaying an illustration of a mining site. Crisp VF or slightly better minor pinholes and marginal tears which do not extend to the main design, not jeopardizing the note's general appearance, and a meaningful condition considering very few survivors of this note are seen in high grades
