The note in blue on red and yellow sunburst underprint with the obverse featuring the Bank's Coat of Arms at upper centre and 2 statues at both lower left and right. The reverse displaying an elaborate panel with large denomination figure in circle at centre and circled with text "The of Scotland Limited". A fresh and crisp GEF or near so, 2 sets of cancelation punch holes, reverse with Printers Annotations and violet stamp reading "The Union Bank of Scotland / Exhibited / Glasgow, ..........." no date can be observed in the stamp
