The National Limited Sixth issue 1 Pick 248b (PMS NA31, BY SC501c) dated 15th May 1924 serial number N 080-654 and engraved signature William J Samuel titled P. General Manager and letterpress signature Andrew McKissock titled Accountant. A large sized note in blue on yellow and red sunburst underprint with the obverse displaying the Royal Coat of Arms at upper centre, a portrait of Henry Schomberg Kerr the 9th Marquess of Lothian at left and a view of Edinburgh Castle at right. The reverse with an elaborate guilloche panel featuring an illustration of a city view in Edinburgh and numerical denomination in each corner. Printed by Waterlow & Sons Limited, London imprinted in small script at lower centre on obverse and reverse. A presentable and crisp VF - GVF, and a very Rare note
