250 Mils first date of issue 1st December 1961, first series VERY LOW number A/1 000017, issue, (Pick37a), scarce early date, in holder graded 65EPQ Gem Uncirculated, Exceptional Paper Quality, A1-A6 are the only prefixes issued for the 250 mills 1961 issue. The 1961 is the first and only republic of Cyprus issue after the QE11 banknote era ends due to Cyprus becoming independent. Serial numbers 1 - 10 are held by the , so this one of the lowest numbers available.
