Sovereign 1863 with the die number 827 on the truncation Marsh 48A Rarity 5, Spink 3853A no die number variety GVF reverse better a comparison to the Bentley example catalogue picture suggests this coin looks superior, the Bentley example realised £18,600, extremely rare and the first we have offered, and a must have for all serious Sovereign collectors

Sovereign 1924SA Marsh 288 A/UNC with some light contact marks, rated R5 by Marsh with a mintage of just 2660 pieces, our archive database stretching back to 2003 shows that the Ex-Cheshire collection example described as GEF in an NGC MS61 holder, realised £10530 in our Auction A148 in March 2015, that coin being the only other example handled by us and seldom offered for sale

A/UNC with some contact marks, the fields show signs of cleaning under magnification

Twopence 1797 Proof in bronzed copper Peck 1068 KT2 with upright die axis alignment, this unusual, see footnote in Peck page 289 EF with a good edge and pleasing, cataloguers note: according to our archive database we have only handled one other example of this type, and that example had the usual inverted die axis, this probably scarcer than the catalogues would suggest
