07/12/2014 Auction 147	Hammered Coins	Lot 1891	Penny Offa (757-796) King of Mercia Heavy Coinage S.908 Chick 203, moneyer Ciolhard with the moneyer's name inverted divided by a beaded bar and enclosed by lunettes with fleurs in the junctions, weight 1.20 grammes, somewhat similar in overall design, and slightly short of the grade of the piece offered in London Coins Auction A129 6/8/2010 Lot 1085, which realised £3000, but this piece without the dots within the letters of the moneyers name. This believed to be only the second example of this Chick type, the first being recorded in 2000. VF with some darker toning on the obverse, some loss of flan between 1 and 4 o'clock on the obverse More coins like this	£1,600
