Penny 1865 5 over 3 Freeman 51 dies 6+G/Satin 56E (Listed as extremely Rare by Satin) The 5 is struck over a 3 which is tilted anticlockwise, thus the underlying 3 is more visible at the top left and the curve of the 5. A good example of this variety showing the underlying figure very clearly as stated by Satin. UNC and with traces of lustre slabbed and graded CGS 80, the finest known of 3 examples thus far graded on the CGS Population Report

Quarter Farthing 1852 R of FARTHING has no lower left serif. R of REG is overstruck, the underlying figure unclear, and has two protrusions from the top, CGS Variety 06, UNC nicely toned, slabbed and graded CGS 80
Shilling 1826 with 6 over 2 in the date ESC 1257A and rarity 3 UNC with a pleasing grey tone with a hint of gold, some fine light scratches obverse field have resulted in the coin which has been graded as UNC by CGS and is in their holder with a Yellow Ticket which means the coins has been rejected for a numerical grade owing to the scratches but authenticated as the rare overdate type and graded as UNC with scratches, listed as simply Extremely Rare by Spink with no price given
Sixpence 1821 CGS variety 04 BRITANNIAR, the first R having base crossbar and resembling R/B, but from different dies to the recognized R/B (where the first letter is very weak and the B has been punched over the second letter in error) as in this case both letters are fully struck
Sixpence 1825 CGS variety 03 5 over 3 in the date and GEORGIUS with the I of IUS having the top left serif missing and resembling a reversed 1 UNC with a subtle gold tone, slabbed and graded CGS 82
Sixpence 1851 as ESC 1696 G in GRATIA has both serifs, G in REG missing it's inner serif (different to both Davies recorded types) now recorded by CGS as Variety 04, A/UNC

No BP in exergue Marsh 118b EF/GEF and graded 65 by CGS the finest recorded example on the CGS population report, CGS have graded nearly 4,000 Sovereigns to date but only two examples of this coin type have been graded so perhaps a rarer type than catalogues suggest
Sovereign 1886 Shield Reverse. Sydney Mint Marsh 82 AU/Unc the reverse choice and almost prooflike, graded 75 by CGS and the finest of 5 so far recorded on the CGS population report
Sovereign 1887 Jubilee HeadPattern, with the obverse displaying 14 Beads to Queen’s necklace rather than 13 on the standard currency and Proof coin.
J.E.B. initials fully on the truncation, on the standard Proof issue they encroach slightly into the field. On the 14 bead coin there is a smaller gap between the A in VICTORIA and the following D of D:G: .This obverse as Baldwin's Bentley sale 8/5/2013 Lot 1228. Reverse: The P of the B.P. initials is poorly rendered, appearing more like a triangle. There are also no stops in between.
The top line of the streamer on the helmet makes a smooth curve onto the next line down, whereas on the standard Proof it is distinctly separate.
The 7 of the date has an extra piece protruding from the right of the horizontal stroke.
The Reverse characteristics are similar to a reverse uniface Proof in the Royal Mint Museum, and had previously not been recorded before on a Proof or currency piece. UNC with prooflike fields, the design and legend heavily frosted. This reverse is as the Royal Mint uniface trial piece. Both obverse and reverse dies types are known, but until now, not on the same coin, and the existence of this piece links together the two previously known types. Comes with a comprehensive folder full of interesting data and research relating to this piece and the other pieces bearing the obverse and reverse die types and their developments and origins, along with many useful and important photographs.
