1937 three . A unique set in a handmade sample plush case. All having Edward VIII's bare head?Obv by D. R. Golder after H. Paget with full titles and rev. large crown. The proof gold finished coin is?made very similar to Barton metal, where a gold veneered blank is?made prior to stri, imparting a superior mirror field rather than gold plating after striking. The silver pattern crown is the only 'Patina' example ever to be struck at the ,?having a?slightly firmer edge than all later coins. The final coin is?a unique bronzed proof with an I.N.A. ticket All coins are choice?F.D.C
