National Society of Art Masters, Past Presidents Medal in silver and enamel, excellent quality manufacture, in Asprey case. This Society was in existence between 1888 and 1947 and there were ONLY 26 Presidents between 1909 and 1943, scarce. Sold with further research
Order of the British Empire, M.B.E. 1st Type Military Division awarded to Emily AnneCurtis, Unit Administrator, Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps. M.B.E. in case of issue with certificate of award dated June 1919. Together with other interesting original documentation. Mrs Curtis served at the Military Convalescent Hospital, Crownhill Plymouth, retiring in 1919, served 1939-45 with the Civil Defence at Caterham & Warlingham, (entitled to the Defence Medal) and died in 1952
