Accompanying paperwork reads thus: 'GOVERNMENT OF CYPRUS THE CYPRUS CROWN PIECE. It is notified for general information that specimens of the Jubilee 45-piastre piece, specially struck and finished by hand as medals and encased in a cardboard box, will be available for sale to the public at all Post Offices on and after Monday 26th March 1928, at a charge of 7/4½ cp. each'. Stated by the vendor to be one of only two remaining examples of the Proof coin with the box and accompanying paperwork, the box with some wear and staining, a true piece of Cypriot history

A near complete denomination set, these notes were captured by the British 1st Armoured division in the Persian Gulf War. During the attack into Iraq, and the dash across Kuwait north of Kuwait city, they overran and occupied a number of Iraqi headquarters, military installations and advancing 290 kilometres they managed to destroy 3 Iraqi divisions and capturing or destroying more than 4000 Iraqi tanks and armoured vehicles along with capturing several million dollars of Iraqi currency. The seized currency was sent back to England's Ministry of Defence Cash Management Branch where they were certified and given these hand stamps.
