Penny 1865 5 over 3 Freeman 51 dies 6+G/Satin 56E (Listed as extremely Rare by Satin) The 5 is struck over a 3 which is tilted anticlockwise, thus the underlying 3 is more visible at the top left and the curve of the 5. A good example of this variety showing the underlying figure very clearly as stated by Satin. UNC and with traces of lustre slabbed and graded CGS 80, the finest known of 3 examples thus far graded on the CGS Population Report

Penny 1865 5 over 3 Freeman 51 dies 6+G interestingly the down stroke of the underlying 3 not visible, but is visible to the top left of the 5 and also under the outer curve of the 5, UNC the obverse with around 20% lustre, the reverse with around 50% lustre, very rare in this high grade, Ex-Astons £65
Halfpenny 1865 5 over 3 Freeman 297 dies 7+G, the top of the 5 filled by a doubled underlying 3, GEF with a few light contact marks, of unusual appearance for this type
Halfpenny 1865 Freeman 296 dies 7+G Lustrous UNC with some light contact marks on the portrait, very rare in high grade, many collectors of this series consider this to be as rare as the over date coin in this grade
Pennies (2) 1860 Beaded Border Freeman 1 dies 1+A About Fine/Fine the variety very clear, Penny 1865 5 over 3 Freeman 51 dies 6+G GF/F for wear with pitted surfaces
Penny 1865 5 over 3 Freeman 51 dies 6+G unusual for this overdate in that the downward stroke of the underlying 3 is barely visible but the other part at the top left of the 5 and the 'bulge' of the 5 are clearly visible, Good Fine
Halfpenny 1865 Freeman 296 dies 7+G EF and nicely toned much scarcer than catalogues suggest and very difficult to find in high grade. Ex-London Coin Auction 3rd September 2005 Lot 910 hammer price £160
