Very Rare with about a dozen of this countermark are believed to exist on Spanish American Two Reales pieces. William Levis was a Philadelphia silversmith most active in the Hard Times era until his death in 1849. We note an example of this type was sold in the Donald G.Patrick collection of Merchant Counterstamps in January 2021 which realised $432, this coin has a superior and more bold countermark, an important coin.
