Royal Mint Trial Piece undated (c.1962-63) Obverse draped figure of Britannia, seated on a stool, striking a coin on a pedestal BRITANNIA MONETA, Reverse: Small 10 , no legend, 11.14 grammes, UNC, the reverse with a minor handling mark. Similar to ESC P.D.S.3. Trial coins of this series were struck for the 'Decimal Currency Committee' which had been appointed in December 1961 to advise on the most convenient and practical form that a Decimal currency might take. The Trial coins were circulated at a series of meetings by the Deputy Master of the Mint Mr. J.H.James CB.

Casino Tokens - Las Vegas (54) Ten Dollars bimetallic with .999 silver centres each 43mm diameter and weighing 36.5 to 37.2 grammes, these tokens could only be obtained by winning them from certain slot machines and certain winning combinations from the Las Vegas casinos. Many of the casinos featured in this collection are from venues that either no longer exist, or have been taken over by larger companies or consortiums. This collection was assembled when many of the venues were smaller establishments rather than the large companies of today. Engraved Mexico 8 Reales Mo FM, undated (1778-1795) Fine, the obverse engraved with the ship HMS Sybil, the reverse with a monogram inscribed upon the lower half of the shield (possibly C F). The Sybil was a 28 gun Enterprise class sixth rate frigate of the Royal Navy, first commissioned in 1778. The ship was renamed Garland in 1795

Mint Errors - Mis-Strikes (4) Shilling 1839 a spectacular double strike with a section of another similar coin overstruck between 12 and 3 o'clock on the reverse, the additional piece being 12mm across, and extending beyond the rim of the original coin, showing part profile of the Young Head. GVF and holed at the top. DecimalTen Pence 1973 struck off centre on a 29mm diameter flan with around 3mm blank flan excess around the edge in parts. The additional excess also having a straight cut top edge which does not obstruct the edge of the coin, UNC and lustrous with some odd scuffs, these probably occurring at the time of minting. Decimal Ten Pence undated Large size a spectacular off-centre strike with just 11mm of the coin visible on the 28mm diameter flan, unusually some edge milling remains, this being on the part of the coin that shows part of the Lion, in an area that would normally be in the centre of the coin, GVF and highly unusual. Decimal Two Pence 1971 with a large planchet clip from 8 o'clock to 11 o'clock on the obverse, thus only the R of REG remains and the last 1 and lower tip of the 7 of the date NEF/EF with some scratches, and retaining some mint lustre

Mint Error- Mis-Strike Portugal 200 Reis struck off-centre and double struck, off-metal in bronze bearing the Young Head of Maria II, 26mm diameter , 5.546 grammes, the main striking undated (date off-flan) considerably off-centre and with 4mm flan showing part of the underlying coin. The underlying coin clearly shows the date 1836 and the lower part of the head of Maria II (Very Rare), overall Near Fine/Fine and potentially very rare as both a mis-strike and a rare date, we note only one recent transaction of a correctly struck 1836 200 Reis in silver, this realising $700 in a PCGS VF30 Secure holder (Stacks 2016)
